C#/.Net/MVC Developer

We are a spin-off and a well-funded Austin based Insurance Agency SaaS company. We combine the dynamic pace of a startup with the security of local and Silicon Valley funding with offices SW of downtown in the Oak Hills area.

We are looking to start a local development team.


The Opportunity:

If you are a seasoned full stack .NET MVC developer interested in a startup. You’ll be part of a top notch team of developers working on first of its kind cloud based SaaS products. You will make a huge contribution to innovative software that measurably improves the lives of insurance agents and agencies.

Contribute significantly to the scale and design of Front-end, back-end and code to MVC framework on the Azure software platform.

Work closely with the product team and designers to ensure a first-rate experience.

3-5 years of .NET/MVC software engineering experience.

Knowledge of C#, ASP.Net MVC, Azure and SQL Server with emphasis on writing modular, scalable code.

Core office hours with flexible start and/or end.

Communication skills for a highly collaborative software development process. Knowledge of and experience with Agile development methodologies.

Experience developing within a Windows environment using Microsoft’s Visual Studio tool set (.NET, MVC, Azure Team Services, VSS…).

Bonus points if you have:

Experience with start-ups, familiarity with API web service design, knowledge of Internet protocols, database management systems, and revision control systems.

Belief in front-end loading the process with team designs, great plans and individual coding.
